The doctor has given me numerous eczema creams and lotions and I have tried numerous all natural products and lotions, such as California Baby Calendula Cream, but nothing is working right now. He is 33 months and is experiencing the worst break out he has ever had. I usually use all free and clear for all of our clothes but I bought a free and clear clothes whitener to use and he had a reaction to it. Now his legs from mid calf down to the tops of his feet and his arms from the elbows down to the tops of his hands, as well as under his little eyes are red, dry patchy swollen spots. I hate that he has to deal with all this itchy sore spots. I gave him some Zyrtec which usually helps when his skin has a reaction but this time it didn't. What has worked for your kids or your eczema flare ups?Oh yes he is allergic to peanuts but not deathly allergic, it does give him a terrible rash so we don't get anywhere near it. Citrus fruits and tomatos aggrevate his eczema as well.

have you had him tested for food allergies? my husband has eczema as well, and dairy and nuts tend to make it worse (he has an intolerance to both but eats them anyways).i would take him off wheat for a week - switch to rice based cereals/crackers and see if that helps. if nothing, do the same for milk for a week (dont do both at the same time because then you wont know which it is). they did that to me when they were testing me. sucked cause all i eat is bread and cheese lol but at least we were able to rule those out.

Try using Dr Hess Udder Ointment. It is the best healing ointment I have ever found for dry skin or eczema. You can find it at www.udderointment.com. Good Luck!
